“Without music, life would be a mistake.” - Friedrich Nietzsche
My life would be a mistake without music, definitely. Friends came and left, music was always there. I needed a lot of time to find my genre that made me feel good in bad times. Finally i found it a few years ago.
Metal is for me like shoes for some other girls. You know, like those girls that are addicted to shoes.
I prefer metalcore and post-hardcore. Like Of Mice And Men, A Day To Remember, Secrets, Being As An Ocean, You Me At Six, Bring Me The Horizon, Architects and so on.
Most people don't like the music they make and say "ew oh god how can you calm down with this?" But yeah, i can. I can relax and switch off everything when i hear their music.
Every single line in their songs has a special meaning and every song goes deep and right into the heart. Not like "Boom ass bitch cunt fuck you, bitch bitch cunt." wow. very meaningful text yeah.
Exactly that's why i love metal music so much like this. You literally have for every mood a song that fits so perfectly.
Up there you see a photo i made on a concert. Of Mice And Men. My favorite band. They gave so much to me, it's incredible.
2012 was the first time i met them in Duisburg, Germany. I was super excited and it was my first concert. It was the best i went to till now. The people are so lovely out there, having the same music taste, understanding each other better than some pips that love Justin Bieber or what ever.
I was amazed about this friendly and lovely behavior. I have never seen something like this.
During the concert there were a lot of mosh pits. Never saw this so i was kinda scared lmao.
After the concert i could talk to a few members of Of Mice And Men. They're really lovely and care much about their fans. That was the point i knew i met the band that supported me so much with their music, i almost started to cry, almost.
I probably just want to say that concerts give you so much in life, it's totally worth it. You meet new people, make friends. ( i also met a close friend there while waiting for the band to come out.) You gonna listen to amazing music and also have the chance to meet your favorite band.
i really can say music has changed a lot, especially Of Mice And Men. And actually i'm looking forward to March next year because i will see Of Mice And Men again, two times, with very good friends.
